Elizabeth Waddell, 44, was last seen around 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Grand Anse Beach area of St. George’s after leaving her Airbnb for a swim, according to Grenada police.
Her friend, who was taking an online course at the rental, later found Waddell gone and her towel on a pier, prompting an immediate missing-person report.
Cailen Waddell, her husband, traveled to Grenada with their daughter on Friday and said police have stayed in close contact as the investigation continues.
Police said they are contacting fishermen, boat operators and residents along Grenada’s southern coastline, while family friends urge anyone with information to call authorities.
