Summary
Framework raised Laptop 13 Pro memory prices sharply, with 32GB LPCAMM2 jumping to $800 from about $439 and 64GB rising to $1,600 from $849.
Supplier quotes for LPCAMM2 came in at more than double Framework’s prior inventory cost, far above the low-to-mid double-digit Q2-to-Q3 increase it had expected.
Preorders will keep their original purchase price, but only orders through Batch 4 laptops and Batch 7 mainboards are guaranteed 64GB modules; later 64GB preorders will be switched to 32GB at 32GB pricing.
The 16GB option still carries its old price for now, though Framework said that will rise once existing inventory runs out, while higher Core Ultra Series 3 processor costs are also lifting X7 and X9 SKU prices.
