Green's non-emergency business lines were restored by 12:24 p.m., while Spectrum told customers internet and voice service should return by 3 p.m. June 27.
The outage began at 5:14 a.m. and knocked out service for residents as well as city business lines, according to alerts sent to a resident and shared with the Beacon Journal.
Emergency lines were not affected, the city said in an 8:43 a.m. alert, limiting the disruption to non-emergency communications.
Spectrum had earlier projected a 1:30 p.m. restoration but pushed that estimate back to 3 p.m. and still could not say how many customers were affected.
