Necromunda Unveils New Edition With 16 Miniatures and Streamlined Rules

Games Workshop said the new Necromunda edition will launch with a core set built around two gangs—the Escher Blades of the Matriarch and Goliath Forge Smelters—totaling 16 new plastic miniatures.
The accompanying Core Rulebook rewrites the game to be quicker, more streamlined and more balanced, while tweaking campaigns for greater flexibility and changing dice rolls so each roll carries more weight.
The box also includes balanced sample gang rosters, a double-sided playmat, dice, templates, markers, cards and Zone Mortalis: Ruined Factoria Pipes terrain, with the rulebook, cards and terrain also sold separately.
Older gang and vehicle rules from previous publications will be replaced, and two new gang books are intended to let existing players use current gangs immediately with updated profiles, equipment and support-unit rules.
Six Underhive Crew starter boxes—for Escher, Goliath, Orlock, Van Saar, Cawdor and Delaque—are also planned, with more details due closer to release.
