A new Warhammer: The Old World core set will pit Warriors of Chaos against Grand Cathay with 54 miniatures, matched points values, and rules, dice, templates, and a playmat for out-of-box play.
The release also introduces new Chaos plastic kits — including Champions, Chaos Knights, Chaos Warriors, and a buildable Chaos Dragon that can carry either a Lord or Sorcerer.
A revised rulebook in the box folds in the latest FAQ but does not mark a new game edition, while also adding Battle March rules for faster 400-750 point games.
Battle March will be supported by a General’s Companion and two faction starter boxes, one each for Warriors of Chaos and Grand Cathay, aimed at quick entry or army expansion.
Warriors of Chaos also get the Arcane Journal: The March of Chaos and updated card packs, with pre-order timing still to be announced.
