Summary
Egypt and DP World agreed to keep working through technical meetings with export councils and trade agencies to turn logistics talks into sector-specific export plans focused on Africa.
The push is meant to cut market-entry costs and improve supply chains for Egyptian goods including food, crops, chemicals, building materials, garments and engineering products.
DP World said it operates in more than 85 countries, handles about 10% of global trade, and already moves roughly 23% of Egypt’s foreign trade through Ain Sokhna Port.
The company is also expanding investments in Egypt through Ain Sokhna Port development and the Sokhna Logistics Park, supporting Cairo’s goal of becoming a regional trade and logistics hub.
