Huawei Pura 90s Pro Debuts 50MP Telephoto Camera and EMUI 16 in 2-Model Series

Huawei’s Pura 90s Pro is being positioned around five headline upgrades, led by a 50MP ultra-lighting macro telephoto camera with OIS and a 5cm minimum focus distance.
The phone also adds a second-generation multispectral true-to-color camera and three AI imaging tools, including reflection removal and composition guidance aimed at improving photos after capture.
EMUI 16 marks Huawei’s first major EMUI version upgrade in two years, bringing a more capable Celia AI assistant focused on completing tasks in a single flow.
Design changes are modest: the overseas Pura 90s Pro largely matches its Chinese counterpart, keeps the triangular rear camera layout, and comes in four colors including Guava Pink and Orange Soda.
The launch currently covers two Pura 90s models—Pro and Pro Max—with the higher-end Pro Max previously highlighted for a 200MP telephoto camera and pricing from €1,149.
