Tech Advisor said the rumored Oppo Find W should not be taken seriously, after tracing the claim to unreliable posts and a fake-looking teaser image.
The supposed phone was described as a 6.4-inch 16:10 LTPO OLED model with a Dimensity 9600 chip and a 2027 launch, but those details appear fabricated for entertainment rather than leaked from Oppo.
Ice Universe had posted a similar image of the boxy device before deleting it, later saying the post was "for entertainment only," undercutting the rumor's main visual source.
The rumor gained traction after Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 adopted a wider passport-style format, even though Tech Advisor said that does not validate an Oppo Find W.
