HMD Launches CNY 469 Touch AI Feature Phone in China With ByteDance Doubao

HMD opened pre-orders in China for the Touch AI at CNY 469, bringing ByteDance’s Doubao model to a feature phone format.
Doubao powers Chinese-English translation, text-to-image generation and other AI tools, while the phone also supports Alipay mobile payments.
The device pairs a 3.2-inch touchscreen with front and rear 2MP cameras, a 1,950mAh battery, USB-C charging, dual-SIM 4G, Wi-Fi and hotspot support.
A customizable top button can trigger an SOS alert, and HMD says the cyan handset’s Lumia-inspired design echoes the Touch 4G launched in India in October 2025.
