ZDNET found the Narwal Flow 2 avoided every obstacle in testing—including cords, socks, toys and pet waste—without needing rescue during cleaning runs.
Two 1080p cameras, LiDAR and AI object recognition drive that performance, with Narwal claiming 0.2-inch clearance and the reviewer saying the robot routinely cleaned that close without contact.
Its track mop, a treadmill-style design washed with hot water as it spins, delivered standout results on dried messes and outperformed the Eufy Omni S2 on sticky spills such as syrup and dried juice.
Vacuuming was less impressive: the Flow 2 averaged 81.02% pickup on hardwood and 43.38% on low-pile carpet, making it better suited to homes with mostly hard floors than carpet-heavy layouts.
