Weekend one runs Aug. 21-25 as an early-access beta for players who pre-purchase on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 or PC, before an open beta for all platforms on Aug. 28-Sept. 1.
The beta will span multiplayer maps and modes from 3v3 skirmishes to larger tank battles, with up to 19 weapons, new Operators and the new Kill Block mode among the playable content.
Activision is also tying pre-purchases to a Black Ops 7 Season 05 challenge starting July 23, with the first 100,000 players to complete it earning a serialized Gilded Ruin weapon camo.
The announcements follow Modern Warfare 4's public hands-on debut at Fanatics Fest in New York and lead into the game's full launch on Oct. 23.
