Willie and Korie Robertson Launch EKKL Entertainment After 34 Years of Marriage

Willie, 54, and Korie, 52, have launched EKKL Entertainment, a faith-and-family platform they describe as a one-stop shop for movies, TV, podcasts, children’s content and daily devotionals.
Six children and now grandchildren helped shape the idea: the Robertsons said watching young family members mimic movie lines and songs underscored how strongly media influences kids and exposed a need for safer entertainment options.
Korie said the venture extends the couple’s shared mission to spread their Christian faith through entertainment, while Willie said biblical principles such as patience, kindness and resolving conflict keep them aligned as spouses and business partners.
Married since 1992, the “Duck Dynasty” stars said their different upbringings in West Monroe, Louisiana, have strengthened both their marriage and business by combining Willie's survival instincts with Korie’s business and legal know-how.
The launch also reflects their bet that Hollywood has underestimated demand for faith- and family-centered storytelling, with the couple arguing audiences want alternatives to more explicit mainstream content.
