Florida posted a 77.9-year life expectancy, $4,948 in Medicaid spending per enrollee and a 21.8% share of residents age 65 or older, but still missed the top 10.
Most of the top 10 states were in New England, while a majority of the bottom 10 were in the South, with Georgia ranking ninth worst and California 30th.
