November soybeans rose 8 3/4 cents by midmorning and moved back above $12, while December corn added 2 cents and September KC wheat gained 13 1/2 cents.
USDA said private exporters sold 340,000 metric tons of soybeans to China, 256,634 tons to Mexico and 110,000 tons to unknown destinations for 2026-27 delivery, fueling the advance.
Soybean oil and wheat accelerated gains later in the session, while corn stayed only moderately higher.
Outside markets were mixed: August crude oil climbed $2.21 a barrel and gold rose $24.10 an ounce, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 22.49 points.
