Probably yes, but Lockdown will be a far tougher test than Ultimate X. Navarro’s knee appears to have held up well since the torn ACL he suffered at last year’s Slammiversary. He returned in roughly seven to eight months, called it a record recovery, and has said he now feels “back to his true self” and stronger after recent matches, including a street fight with A.J. Francis and a title challenge against Mustafa Ali. Just as important, he came through this year’s Ultimate X — one of TNA’s most dangerous match types — with what he described as a “brand-new knee.” That said, surviving Ultimate X does not guarantee he will be fine against Nic Nemeth inside a steel cage. Lockdown’s all-cage format creates a different kind of strain: repeated impact, awkward landings, limited escape routes and sustained punishment from a world champion with major big-match experience. Navarro has also said Lockdown would be his first time in a cage, which adds another unknown. The evidence so far favors Navarro’s durability. He has already tested the knee in high-risk settings and publicly projects confidence rather than hesitation. But Nemeth is a different level of opponent, and a cage match is designed to expose any weakness. So the best answer is that Navarro’s knee looks ready, but Lockdown against Nemeth will be the clearest proof yet of whether his recovery can withstand a main-event caliber beating.

KC Navarro said his Slammiversary Ultimate X match meant more than last year’s outing because he shared the ring with mentor Amazing Red in Red’s return match and got a featured in-ring moment with him.
The TNA wrestler said climbing the structure remains difficult because he fears heights, a concern sharpened by injury worries as he chased the X Division Championship.
Navarro contrasted this year with Slammiversary 2025, when he entered a ladder match with a torn ACL; this time he competed with a rebuilt knee but said one bad fall could have reinjured it.
He said adrenaline and mindset carry him through once the bell rings, framing the risk as part of the job and of pursuing a title in TNA’s dangerous signature match.
The comments come as Navarro is also feuding with TNA world champion Nic Nemeth, a program that could elevate him further up the roster.
