Later in 2026, Square Enix will roll out a free Octopath Traveler 0 update that adds a tougher Monster Arena challenge and a new town resident.
The update’s headline fight brings back a returning enemy in an enhanced Capture battle followed by a significantly harder Arena battle aimed at veteran players.
Wishvale also gains a new resident introduced as an adventurer from another world; Square Enix has not yet detailed that character’s role.
Full update information will be released closer to launch for Octopath Traveler 0, which is already available on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PS4, Switch and PC.
