Truong Hai led VAMA members with 46,423 first-half sales, up 11%, while Toyota rose 21% to 35,410, Mitsubishi jumped 37% to 21,617, and Ford slipped 2% to 21,232.
VinFast, excluded from VAMA data, separately reported a 72% domestic sales surge to 115,916 vehicles; GlobalData still expects Vietnam light-vehicle sales to rise 10% to 617,000 in 2026.
