Veritas Tales: Witch of the Dark Castle has launched on PC, with creator Yoshio Nishimura saying he recruited composer Hitoshi Sakimoto as soon as full production began.
Nishimura told RPG Site he had wanted Sakimoto from the planning stage, despite knowing him previously only through business contacts during Nishimura's time at Vanillaware.
Sakimoto — known for Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XII and other major game scores — delivered music that Nishimura said left him thrilled with the result.
Following the Steam release, Nishimura said he is now considering expanding the RPG to consoles.
