A newly released jail call between Taylor Parker and daughter Emersyn offers the first public detail on her children’s lives after Parker’s arrest and later 2022 capital murder conviction.
Emersyn described ordinary routines — a campfire, overnight storms, an early Christmas sapphire-and-diamond gift and her new bedroom — suggesting she was adjusting under the care of Parker’s mother, Shona Prior.
The call also indicated Parker’s son Trey was living separately with Parker’s ex-husband, Tommy Wacasey, and had received an early Christmas cross chain.
Trial testimony had already shown the family split custody after the arrest, with Prior arranging counselling for Emersyn, while relatives differed on Parker’s parenting before she was sentenced to death.
