Summary
June 30 brings Patch 36.0, opening Hearthstone’s final lead-in to Escape from Violet Hold ahead of the 135-card expansion’s July 7 release.
A revamped pre-release Tavern Brawl runs June 30 to July 7, letting players build expansion-only decks with one free entry and temporary access to all new Common cards.
Arena resets with all ongoing runs ending, a new card pool starting June 30, and Nefarious Nemsy replacing the prior 12-win Underground reward; repeat 12-win runs then pay 2 Golden expansion packs.
July 7 also starts a refreshed rewards track and a Violet Hold event that runs through July 28, offering packs, a Catch-Up Pack and one of three hero skins.
From June 30 to August 4, Blizzard is also handing out weekly mystery gifts in the Battle.net shop while adding a free Signature Vanessa bonus to the pre-purchase Mega Bundle.
