Google Launches 2 Gemini AI Models, Pricing Images at $0.034 and Video at $0.10

Google added Nano Banana 2 Lite and Gemini Omni Flash to its Gemini lineup, extending its push into image generation, video creation and conversational video editing.
Nano Banana 2 Lite targets low-cost, high-volume image work, generating text-to-image outputs in about four seconds at $0.034 per 1,000 images.
Gemini Omni Flash is aimed at developers building multimedia apps through the Gemini API and Google AI Studio, with video output priced at $0.10 per second.
The releases fit Alphabet’s broader strategy to make generative AI faster and cheaper across consumer, developer and enterprise products while defending its positions in search, cloud and advertising.
Alphabet, valued at $4.36 trillion, has leaned heavily on AI after Q1 revenue rose 22% to $109.9 billion, even as investors weigh whether rising infrastructure spending will deliver near-term returns.
