Testing by players shows Destiny 2’s new 4-piece Iron Banner Battalion bonus can return roughly 33% super energy after a cast with as few as six kills, turning many supers into near-instant recharges.
Several exotic pairings push the effect much higher: Shards of Galanor can reach about 83%, Gathering Storm with Raiju’s Harness can hit 80%-100%, and Nova Bomb with Skull of Ahamkara can fully refund a super.
Astrocyte Verse appears to create the strangest interaction, with Dark Blink Seekers counting as super kills and regenerating about 66% energy even though the move itself is not a super attack.
The armor comes from PvP-focused Iron Banner, but the discovered interactions are especially powerful in PvE, where players say the set behaves more like a super-printing exploit than a normal bonus.
A nerf looks unlikely because Destiny 2 is nearing the end of active updates, with only one more hotfix expected next week and Bungie focused on fixing player-harming issues rather than rebalancing strong PvE gear.
