Bungie Permanently Disables 2 Destiny 2 PvP Armor Bonuses as Final Hotfix Nears

Summary
Two dungeon armor set bonuses—Grasp of Avarice's Overflowing Coffers and Duality's Bittersweet—have been permanently turned off in Destiny 2 PvP after they enabled unusually fast health and super generation.
Bungie said the effects were warping matches, with supers appearing by the second round of Trials and some 1v1 fights effectively decided by the bonuses.
The bonuses remain active in PvE, where Bungie can separate sandbox changes, but the studio gave no sign they will ever be rebalanced for PvP.
The move comes as Bungie prepares what is expected to be Destiny 2's last hotfix, with resource cuts after the end-of-service announcement leaving little capacity to fix broader Crucible balance problems.
Beyond that patch, the nearly 9-year-old game is expected to run with automated rotations for activities like Xur, Trials and Iron Banner, but with effectively no ongoing live support.
