Summary
Dante Abdul Malik, 35, was arrested on charges of hindering apprehension and tampering with evidence in the June 6 killing of Penn State senior Billy Schmidt.
Authorities say Malik is the stepfather of 16-year-old murder suspect Azzubair Outen-Fleming, who was already arrested, while 16-year-old Kaiseem Smith remains at large.
Investigators say the suspects stole Schmidt's cellphone on Philadelphia's Durfor Street, and as he chased them, Smith allegedly turned and shot him in the chest.
Up to $30,000 in reward money remains available for information as police and U.S. Marshals continue searching for Smith.
