Bethesda Showcases Oblivion Remastered Switch 2 Cartridge Ahead of August 11 Launch

Bethesda posted a new social-media trailer highlighting the physical game card for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on Switch 2.
The company had said earlier this week that the release would ship on a proper cartridge containing the full base game, not a download-only package.
Supportive reactions followed online after Sony said this week it would end PlayStation disc-based physical releases by 2028, sharpening the contrast around physical media.
Oblivion Remastered and its physical Deluxe Edition arrive on Nintendo's new system on August 11, 2026; Bethesda's Indiana Jones and the Great Circle also got a full cartridge release in May.
