6GB RAM Plus, deep-sleeping unused apps and periodic RAM cleanup made one Galaxy phone feel faster and less congested after months of sluggish app launches and background activity.
Settings changes targeted One UI clutter from background refresh, sync and idle services, with shopping, travel, old games and other rarely used apps moved into Deep Sleeping Apps.
The cleanup also stripped away interface noise by disabling Galaxy Store suggestions, Samsung News cards, Samsung Wallet swipe-up and Edge panels that added prompts or accidental triggers.
Auto optimization restarts and disabling lock-screen wallpaper services such as Glance were framed as maintenance tweaks that improve long-term smoothness and reduce bloat without a factory reset.
