That pairing ties the remaster directly to both the 1993 SNES original—via the Argonaut-made Super FX chip—and Star Fox 64, underscoring how closely the developers mined the series’ history.
Nintendo Life called the game a “sublime remaster” of the 1997 classic, praising its visual overhaul, tighter controls, new challenges and online modes while noting it largely remains Star Fox 64 again.
