Summary
Ver. 1.7.0 for Mario Kart World is now live on Switch 2, adding Drill Rally and Boomerang Rally to the 24-driver Knockout Tour mode.
The two routes connect Wario Shipyard to Bowser's Castle and Salty Salty Speedway to Whistlestop Summit, and unlock after players clear at least one Knockout Tour rally.
Photo Mode also now supports collected stickers, which can be combined with frames and placed using touch controls or Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.
Nintendo said the update is free and that more Knockout Tour routes are planned in future releases; earlier 1.7.0 details also cited bug fixes, balance changes and Thai language support.
