Summary
Guns of Eschaton debuted a new gameplay trailer, giving the clearest look yet at a mystical first-person shooter set in a fantasy-apocalyptic 19th-century America.
Combat centers on scarce, high-stakes gunplay mixed with soulslike mechanics, including custom ammunition, parries, dashes and a Codex that exposes enemy weaknesses.
The game follows a gunslinger traveling from the West to the East Coast through a dying America populated by reimagined historical figures and Old West mythic archetypes.
Viktor Antonov — the late visual designer behind Half-Life 2 and Dishonored — helped shape the world, with publisher 4Divinity and developer Eschatology Entertainment calling it his final project.
Guns of Eschaton has no release date yet, but is planned for Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
