Netflix's Bad Bridgets Adds 7 Cast Members Ahead of July 2026 Shoot

Seven actors — including Colin Farrell, Steve Coogan, Charlie Heaton and Domhnall Gleeson — have joined Rich Peppiatt’s Netflix-backed period film before cameras roll in mid-July 2026.
The additions expand a cast already led by Emilia Jones and Alison Oliver, as the film adapts the book on “Bad Bridgets,” impoverished Irish women who emigrated to North America and often fell into crime.
Peppiatt, who won a BAFTA for 2024 breakout Kneecap, is producing through Coup d’Etat Films with Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap, while Cáit Collins executive produces.
Northern Ireland and Ireland will host the location shoot, with support from Northern Ireland Screen and development backing from Queen’s University Belfast.
