Joe Doering is set to enter hospice, according to an update shared by his sister-in-law as the former WWE and TNA wrestler’s condition worsens.
His third brain tumor was reported to be growing, forcing doctors to stop chemotherapy and place him on steroids after an initial round of treatment.
A GoFundMe says Doering has battled brain cancer for nearly 10 years; after a 2022 brain-stem surgery, he developed right-side ataxia and now mostly uses a wheelchair.
$19,000 CAD had been raised toward a $24,000 CAD goal to help cover medical bills and support his wife as she takes time off for his care and appointments.
Doering stepped away from wrestling in 2022 when his cancer returned during his TNA run, and his third brain tumor was disclosed in December 2025.
