Navarro argued the results strengthened AOC's hand because the victors ran on a younger, more confrontational progressive agenda aligned with Mamdani on economics, Israel and ICE.
Chuck Schumer publicly downplayed the upset, telling the New York Post the primaries showed "a great united party" with both centrist and progressive energy that Democrats can harness for November.
