NLRB Settles Georgia Threat Case With Amazon Vendor MJB, Easing 1 More Joint-Employer Fight

A June 3 NLRB memo approved a settlement with Amazon delivery contractor MJB LLC in Georgia, ending a case over alleged threats against a driver despite his objections.
Hunter Richau said MJB's owner threatened workers and told him Amazon had said to “silence the loudest voices,” tying the dispute to whether Amazon bears responsibility for subcontracted staff.
The move marks another retreat by Trump administration labor-board prosecutors from an Amazon “who’s the boss” case, reducing pressure on the company in joint-employer fights over delivery contractors.
