Summary
Breeze Airways will start twice-weekly nonstop flights between Charleston and Trenton on Sept. 20, with Thursday and Sunday service and introductory one-way fares from $59.
The Trenton link becomes Breeze's 29th nonstop destination from Charleston and gives Charleston International Airport its only direct route to Trenton-Mercer Airport.
Airport CEO Elliott Summey said the service should widen Northeast access for Lowcountry travelers while offering a convenient option for passengers in the Philadelphia and Delaware regions.
Breeze has been expanding rapidly in Charleston, recently launching twice-weekly Atlantic City service, adding a Cancún route earlier this year and preparing to start seasonal Fort Lauderdale flights on July 2.
