Summary
An all-cash deal worth tens of millions of dollars gives MoEngage Aampe’s software, which assigns a dedicated AI agent to each customer for one-to-one marketing decisions.
Aampe, founded in 2020, has more than 30 customers across the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific and grew annual recurring revenue 150% over the past year, according to MoEngage CEO Raviteja Dodda.
MoEngage said the acquisition should strengthen its pitch against Salesforce and Adobe, where Dodda said recent customer migrations already produced three to four multi-million-dollar annual contracts.
Around 20 Aampe employees will join MoEngage, lifting its workforce to roughly 820, after MoEngage raised $280 million more than six months ago and as software firms push AI from assistants toward autonomous agents.
