Summary
June 23 marks the start of Amazon's 2026 Prime Day, a members-only sale running through June 26 that can still be accessed through a free Prime trial.
30-day trial users get the same Prime Day shopping access as paid members if Amazon offers them the promotion and they sign up with a valid card on file.
Amazon generally limits eligibility to new Prime customers or people who have not paid for Prime in at least 12 months, with its system determining whether the trial appears.
Before the 30-day window ends, users must cancel under Manage Prime Membership to avoid being charged the standard $15 monthly rate; regular Prime also costs $139 a year.
Amazon also offers longer or cheaper membership options, including a 6-month young-adult trial, $7.49 monthly student pricing and $6.99 Prime Access for qualifying assistance recipients.
