The video also captured their first in-orbit medical rescue drill, with Lai helping fit rescue equipment and taking routine cabin temperature measurements.
Commander Zhu Yangzhu, pilot Zhang Zhiyuan and Lai were also seen conducting space science experiments and physical exercise during the holiday period.
Launched on May 24, Shenzhou-23 is scheduled to carry out more than 100 scientific and applied projects in life sciences, materials science, fluid physics and medicine during a yearlong mission.
