North Carolina outfielder Owen Hull appears best positioned to get the biggest draft-stock bump in Monday’s winner-take-all Game 3. The reason is less about being the highest-rated prospect and more about how much room he has to rise. Hull entered Omaha outside or near the back end of many top-prospect lists, but his College World Series production has forced scouts to pay closer attention. The added reporting says he is hitting .398 on the season and went 9-for-13 in his first three CWS games, making him one of the hottest bats on either roster. If he delivers again on the sport’s biggest college stage, that kind of late, high-visibility surge can move a player more dramatically than it would for a prospect already firmly established. Among the better-known draft names in this series, UNC left-hander Ryan Lynch and Oklahoma shortstop Jaxon Willits also have a strong case. Lynch, ranked No. 58 by MLB Pipeline, could gain if he shows he is healthy and effective after his unexpected Game 2 exit. Willits, ranked No. 146, has also been excellent in Omaha and could strengthen his profile with another big offensive game under pressure. But Hull has the clearest path to a meaningful jump because he is converting postseason performance into new draft momentum rather than simply reinforcing an existing reputation. A decisive Game 3 performance would give scouts one more premium look at a player whose stock is already moving fast.
