The 18-month project is designed to give Greece updated primary data for tourism planning, helping officials adjust promotion and marketing to shifts in demand, destination choices, holiday timing and travel motivations.
United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain are among the markets covered, alongside Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and Romania.
GNTO said findings from each cycle will feed practical promotion tools and broader decision-making across the tourism sector, with completion expected by the end of 2027.
