A 20-foot statue of Ozzy Osbourne was unveiled at France’s Hellfest on Thursday, marking the debut of a tribute first announced in March.
Philippe Pasqua created the sculpture, which weighs about 11,000 pounds — or 16,000 pounds with its base — and Sharon Osbourne shared video of the unveiling on Instagram.
Sharon Osbourne said she missed the ceremony after an unexpected hospital trip earlier in the week, while thanking Hellfest organizers and the artist.
The Ozzy monument will return to Hellfest every year, following the festival’s giant Lemmy Kilmister statue, which became a permanent fixture after its 2022 debut.
