For buyers who want a high-end Garmin now, the value is hard to ignore. At the same time, there are signs this is not just a routine sale. Garmin’s newer premium lineup, especially the Fenix 8 and Fenix 8 Pro, overlaps heavily with the Epix Pro’s role, and the Epix line appears less prominent in Garmin’s current marketing and feature-update materials. That suggests Amazon and Garmin may be using Prime Day to clear inventory of a model that is no longer the company’s main focus. Still, “clearance” does not mean obsolete.
