Summary
Samsung LSI is reportedly lining up multiple Exynos 2700 versions for the Galaxy S27 series, mirroring Qualcomm’s push to offer Samsung Mobile a wider menu of flagship chips.
Qualcomm’s pressure comes from as many as six Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro variants, including LPDDR6 and LPDDR5X options plus possible binned-core or clock-speed differences aimed at cost and performance flexibility.
Exynos 2700 is expected to use Samsung’s second-generation 2nm SF2P process, ARM C2-class CPU cores and an AMD RDNA 4-based Xclipse GPU, alongside a new Side-by-Side packaging and Heat Path Block cooling design.
A roughly 60% yield on SF2P remains Samsung’s main constraint, giving Qualcomm an opening even if Exynos expands into its own LPDDR6, LPDDR5X and speed-binned variants.
