Select Pixel Watch models began receiving stable Wear OS 7 on Wednesday, adding a refreshed interface, upgraded Gemini features and Android XR support.
Wear OS 7 brings Live Updates for real-time tracking, easier control of earbuds, speakers and TVs, and a Media Output Switcher for moving audio between devices.
Gemini now handles multi-step tasks such as ordering food or booking tickets, while a new Create Your Widget tool generates custom widgets from natural-language prompts.
Google said the update can deliver up to 10% longer battery life than Wear OS 6 and lets watches display images captured by Android XR smart glasses.
Samsung is expected to ship the software as One UI 9 Watch with the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 in July, before wider rollout later in 2026.
