Pokémon Pokopia Releases Version 1.1.1, Fixing 2 Bugs Ahead of August Expansion

Version 1.1.1 for Pokémon Pokopia went live on June 18 for Switch 2, targeting two gameplay issues rather than adding new content.
Nintendo said the patch fixes failures that could occur when placed items in an area exceeded a certain limit and corrects Ditto’s unchanged facial expression when players used emotes during photos.
The update follows the June 18 announcement of the “Wish Upon A Jirachi” in-game event, which lets players befriend Jirachi and redeem themed items.
It also comes after an earlier June update tied to Pokopia’s Expansion Pass, whose first part, “Bubbly Basin,” is due in August 2026, with parts 2 and 3 planned for late 2026 and 2027.
