Apple Brings Siri AI to watchOS 27 as Battery Gains Reach Series 9 and Newer

watchOS 27 will add Siri AI to Apple Watch later this year, letting users search the web, access personal data and act inside apps from the wrist.
That rollout depends on a connected Apple Intelligence iPhone—iPhone 15 Pro or later—and Apple is building a dedicated Siri app plus a dynamic app grid that puts it front and center.
Apple also added a single-tap index-finger-and-thumb gesture for Smart Stack widgets, expanded health features with menopause and perimenopause alerts, and improved treadmill and running metrics.
Under-the-hood changes extend battery life partly by disabling little-used features, while Workout Buddy now works without a nearby iPhone and Find My is unified across devices, items and people.
The update arrives this fall for Apple Watch Series 9 and later, Ultra 2 and later, and the Apple Watch SE 3.
