Summary
Private beta users can now access a redesigned Firefly studio that keeps persistent context, reusable assets and organized workflows in one interface for moving from ideation to production without hopping between apps.
Two new studio features — Elements and Projects — let creators save named characters, objects and locations, then keep assets, generations and creative context together for easier reuse and continuity.
Firefly’s AI assistant also adds brand-kit creation, including logos and color palettes, plus storyboard generation, image-to-short-video tools and Quick Cut for assembling clips into polished first drafts.
Adobe says the update is meant to remove tedious design and editing work while preserving manual control, letting users start with conversational prompts and then refine projects in Firefly or other Creative Cloud apps.
The overhaul extends Adobe’s broader push to embed AI across Creative Cloud after launching app-specific AI assistants for Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign and Frame.io earlier this year.
