Judge Orders William Applegate to Stay 100 Yards From Sabrina Carpenter for 5 Years

Summary
A Los Angeles judge on Wednesday barred William Applegate, 31, from Sabrina Carpenter for five years after he repeatedly tried to enter her home and returned even after a temporary order.
More than a dozen attempts drove the case, including a May incident in which Applegate reached Carpenter’s front door through a neighboring property, struck a security guard and was arrested.
Applegate told the court a classified military program required him and Carpenter to be together for “national and global security,” and said he believed she was communicating with him at Coachella.
The order requires him to stay at least 100 yards from Carpenter, her sister and her sister’s partner, bars any contact and firearm possession, and comes while a criminal investigation remains open without filed charges.
