Garmin Releases Beta 22.37 for Fenix 8, Fixing 3 Bugs as Battery Drain Persists

Beta Version 22.37 has gone out to 100% of Garmin’s beta testers for the Fenix 8 line and equivalent premium smartwatches, reviving a v22 beta program the company had said ended with stable System Software 22.35.
Three fixes are bundled in the release: a battery-drain patch, a golf activity crash fix and a correction for a dive bug that reset depth to zero after maximum depth was reached.
Garmin said the battery-drain fix applies only to the Tactix 8, while the golf and dive fixes cover the other supported watches in the same high-end range.
The update follows Garmin’s recent rollout of free inReach satellite SOS eligibility for the same devices, and v22.37 is expected to reach the stable software branch within days.
