Version 17.33 is reaching Forerunner 570 and 970 users now, adding eight features including a controls-menu Silent Mode shortcut, new golf tools and expanded navigation options.
Garmin tied the release to everyday usability: the watches now support Approach CT1 club-tracking sensors, Golf Performance Glance, Green View updates, multiple coordinate formats and navigation back to a Man Overboard location.
Smaller changes include a swipe-up keyboard layout menu for easier text entry and QR-code access to Outdoor Maps+ layer information for subscribers.
