Summary
Launch Chattanooga and the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga are staging the inaugural KIC Nights Juneteenth Celebration this week as a community event built around both history and small-business support.
More than 35 vendors are set to participate alongside live performances, dancing, music and family activities, giving local entrepreneurs exposure and a chance to earn sales.
A Kids Zone and other educational elements are meant to help families understand Juneteenth’s significance, which organizers said remains unfamiliar to many residents.
The event also brings in ArtsBuild and Chattanooga Business Elite, widening the effort to connect community celebration with local economic development.
